To heighten awareness and public action on the future of the Ormond Beach Wetland, we launch this Web Page. People familiar with the Ormond Beach Wetland will find new information. Those not so familiar can discover a wonderful new world.

Putting Money Where Our Mouth Is

We are among the many who have worked for years to preserve and protect this resource. It is once again at a turning point. A massive housing and commercial development has been authorized that would deprive Ormond of adjacent upland habitat resources vital to its survival.

The non-profit Environmental Defense Center of Santa Barbara acting for itself, the Sierra Club, and the Environmental Coalition has taken legal action on this threat. We want to help and we ask you to help too. The Beacon Foundation is matching up to $5,000 of the total donations we receive for this Campaign before year end. We will contribute sums collected and our match to The Environmental Defense Center for protection of Ormond Beach.
